Scale Finance Adds New Professionals in Wake of Rebranding – Charlotte and Raleigh

Scale Finance LLC announced continued growth in the firm’s senior professional staff in both Charlotte and Raleigh. Experienced CFOs, Greg Hart and John Gioffre have joined the firm in the Charlotte office. CFO Tom Livingston has come aboard in Raleigh. All three professionals have multiple years experience in the Chief Financial Officer role in high growth operating companies as well as extensive experience in public accounting.

Michael Coppa, an experienced Transaction Advisor with prior experience in investment and commercial banking has joined Scale Finance in Charlotte. Mike is a graduate of Harvard Business School and maintains FINRA/NASD Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. Mike will join Managing Director in Charlotte, Dave Gilroy, in focusing on raising growth capital (i.e. equity, subordinate debt, senior debt) for high potential companies in addition to helping clients navigate M&A opportunities.

Mr. Gilroy commented, "Our singular focus at Scale Finance is saving companies money. We deploy extraordinarily experienced finance professionals into small, but high growth, companies in a flexible model that clients find extremely cost-effective. Our part-time CFO/Controller support and ability to close capital raise and M&A transactions deliver results for clients at a fraction of the fees charged by boutique investment banks and local CPA firms."

Mr. Gilroy also noted the recent departure of a couple senior partners who set out to build a new company focused on turnaround services among other things. "In the wake of the division in our firm earlier this year, Gary Hayes, Scale Finance Managing Director in Raleigh, and I thought rebranding the firm as Scale Finance would appropriately underpin our sharp focus on helping entrepreneurs scale their business through pragmatic, cost-effective finance support."
