We are pleased to announce our merger with Wagner Noble & Company effective November 1, 2012. Our evolved firm will be known as Boatsman Gillmore Wagner, PLLC, and will have offices in Charlotte and the Huntersville-Lake Norman area.
Our firm began its professional practice in 2006. Our growth has been predominantly organic, stemming from the referrals from clients and other professionals in addition to relationships forged through trade and civic organizations. The growth and development of our professional staff has evolved in a similar manner. We have attracted high-quality, committed professionals and invested in their training, development and growth.
We conducted an extensive search in pursuit of a firm that could complement our team and allow us to provide greater service and value to our clients. In Wagner Noble we found a great match, a firm with similar values and a sterling reputation for service over its 30 years of doing business in the Charlotte region.
What changes will this merger bring to our firm and operations?
- This merger will allow us to expand our assurance services (audits, reviews, and compilations) while maintaining the advisory and tax practices that have been a part of our client-relationship model.
- Clients will continue to work with the same people in our firm that they have in the past.
- All of our people are being retained in their current roles. We do anticipate introducing you to some of our team members over the next year.
- Our fee structure will not change.
- The services we have provided you in the past will continue.
- We will be consolidating office space in the near future. We anticipate utilizing Wagner Noble & Company’s South Park office and retaining our Huntersville office as our W. Morehead lease has expired.
- Our existing phone numbers will continue to be the ones you will use to contact us.
- Our e-mail addresses will change. The convention for those addresses is [first initial][last name]@trustbgw.com.
