Reliant provides mobility assistance for patients and residents from hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and private pay individuals who are in their homes or in a residential or medical facility of some kind.
Scale Finance provides fractional use Controller services for Reliant. Prior to the recent control-change transaction, SF provided accounting and finance due diligence support and transaction advisory help to the new acquirer of the business. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Reliant assists clients with compassion and respect and provides exceptionally high service (making sure clients get to their destination, not the sidewalk, but in to their doctor’s office). Scheduling is convenient and efficient, preventing clients from waiting unnecessarily.
The Company has a long history in the region of providing outstanding non-emergency transportation for people who need special support no matter what the occasion – family reunions, weddings, airports, theater, restaurants, birthday celebrations, church, etc.
The Company can also transport one escort (family member or aid) at no additional charge. Reliant’s newer, ADA compliant vehicles have manual rear load ramps so no mechanical parts to break or inconvenience clients in any way. Drivers are fully trained and prepared to use the fire safety, first aid, and emergency equipment located in each van.
In fact, Reliant drivers are AED, First Aid, CPR certified, EMT and/or CNA certified, drug tested, background checked, and have clean driving records. The Company’s drivers are caregivers, compassionate skilled individuals who are specially trained to assist with persons with mobility challenges and have a warm smile for all.
